Any issues I should know about? 4 wheel drive system ok? Manual or DSG?

The best think to do is go on vwroc forum it's full of info . I do know on some early models the turbo can go . But I would have thought most would now be repaired under warranty.
Just so you know the mkgti and mk5 are like night and day , go like sh#t of a shovel and also handle out of this world

Post by: GrayMK5GTI on March 04, 2017, 11:11:58 am: Defo DSG, as it works seamlessly with all the mk7s tech - adaptive cruise etc. Manual clutches cant really handle stock power very well, and will certainly slip after a remap.

Early cars (2014 & early 2015) can have turbo problems, but its not that common really. Late 2015 onwards got a better entertainment unit.

Lapiz blue paint is soft & swirls quite easily.

4WD is robust & can handle 600+bhp, there have neen a few haldex units replaced umder warranty, however regular oil changes will help prolong the life. Not a common failure either

Immense cars though pal, very very capable & really great fun to drive hard. i love mine :love:
