Title: RNS 510 golf mk5
Post by: iTunes on March 03, 2017, 11:39:50 am
Hello guys,

I have a question: so I don't really know a lot about cars but everyone has to start somewhere right?

Now, I have a 2008 mk 5 golf (105 horse power) I've been looking to put in a RNS 510 radio/nav but I've read about all those CAN bus problems and problems with power drainage? Now since I can't really find a clear post about what RNS 510 version I can put in my car... The CAN bus stuff is all stock, so no work has been done to it....

Can someone tell me? Or do I have to check the CAN bus version?

Thanks in advance guys!!!

Think you will be alright with your current canbus in an 08

So I should be good to use every RNS 510 version I want? Anyone who can confirm this?

Your canbus should not be a problem if you car is a 08 model.

You can use any 510 version that you want.
