Title: Any advice: RNS510 turns itself on after locking car

Any info/help/advice here would be appreciated. I've had a retrofit RNS 510 unit for about 6 years. Over the last several months, I've noticed that it will often turn itself on around 20-30 seconds after engine stop & key removal, often after I've locked the car. I've not yet run a VCDS check (loaned my cable to a friend), but I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has encountered this.
