I've got a GTTDI and seeing the brakes have not been bleed for pure time ,thought I'd do it ,started with the n/s/f then o/s/f so far so good ,went to n/s/r and it didn't seem to let any fluid out ( using a pipe with a vacuum pump and a little pot to catch the fluid ) then went to o/s/r and I got 70 ml out but that was it ,to finish it off I let a little bit of fluid out of the clutch .......got in the car started her up ,touched the clutch pedal and it shot straight to the floor!!!!!WTF
no car now ☹️

Ive never bled brakes before but im fairly sure you are supposed to start with the wheel furthest away from the master cylinder, this might be the cause of your problems?

I thought that too ,had a look on a guide on you tube ( Irish fella -project GTI ) reckoned this is the way you do it ,looks a professional video too ,not jack the lad under his car ,perhaps that's the one I shoulda watched cause now I'm on my mountain bike to work in the morning ☹️

I was going to do mine, that video makes it look so easy..... maybe the £64 VW charge isn't such a bad shout. Hope you get it sorted.
