All right guys.. Tried to search this topic on Google and there's so many different answers to the subject.
Hoping if I posted here to get some clear answer on what modules that'll support the mods I need to do..
I want folding mirrors, puddle lights, trunk pop fuel switch, door entry lights and indoor door handle illumination.
I got electric windows on all 4 doors and it's a LHD.

What about reverse dip on passenger side mirror?
Have you got the folding mirrors yet? You might also want to consider anti dazzle on drivers mirror (extra wiring inside car needed)

I got dip on passenger with the polar-fis "kessy" box so this isn't needed.
Was thinking about doing the side mirrors to anti dazzle also but my plans were to retrofit a pair of scirocco mirrors with puddle and folding function instead of the mk5 ones since they doesn't fold that much.. Already got a bodyshop working on the mirrors, just need to source out which door module I need.
My current ones are : 1K0 959 701 E / 1K0 959 702 E in the front and 1K0 959 703 C / 1K0 959 704 C in the rear doors

Reverse dip is mirror dependent. Passenger mirror with reverse dip does have additional (if I remember correct 3 or 4) wires.
You will need gen2 max controllers or gen3 controllers. This can be identified by number of pins in the control module (should have all of them). I can try to get you some part numbers from ETKA, if you will struggle to find anything on ebay.
Check here for identification of all of the pins.

Switching between different gens will require some pins to be changed.

Actually I've already bought some modules that should support the pins for the retrofits I'll be doing.
They have part numbers : 1K0 959 792 P / 1K0 959 793 H.
Can't remember from which cars they're from ... Only thing I can remember is that my passenger window didn't work a neither did the right side mirror? Anyone know if these modules can be used or should I try locate some Generation 3 (M, N or Q) instead?

It's a MY2005 2.0TDI

So your wiring is gen1/2 R modules are gen 3 by the look. You need to modify wiring as per link I gave you.

So I'm able to use the modules I've already got or should I search down some Gen 3 (m,n,q) from Ebay? :)

When I will get home from work I will check vcds label file for you, as I think that R are gen3 already. If they are from post 2007 mk5 this should be the case.

Any chance you can get me a part numbers of the motors that you have attached to this modules as this is how VCDS is identifying GEN of the modules.
I don't know why but for some reason i thought that your modules are "R"...
So I think that:
1k0 959 793H was fitted with 1k0 959 701L which is Gen2 High
1K0 959 792P was fitted with 1k0 959 702L which is Gen2 High
Although please confirm I am correct, if so ignore my previous post about Gen3 and wiring changes.
When you connected new modules which errors you had ? have you coded them in via VCDS ?
