Title: Electric window switch failure

the elec window won't go down from the passenger side but does go down from drivers side controls ,so it is working obviously a break in the wire ,where is the best place to start ,from the switch to the window or could the break be in the door gaitor?

Drivers side door wiring would be my starting point but you could check the switches with VCDS in output testes without any disassembly.
