Title: Speaker Upgrade Help

Looking to upgrade all the speakers in my MK5 GTI... most of them have popped and sounds awful.

1) what size are all the speakers/tweeters
2) any recommend brands (want a decent quality but still reasonably priced £200 budget if possible, not sure what the going rtaes are for a decent set)

Do you have 2 way or 3 way speakers? If you have the VW 10 speaker system there is a mid range and woofer in the front doors, and a tweeter in the triangle by the door pillar.
I'd look at Hertz, Rainbow, Focal etc

i think i have 8 speakers off the top of my head (4 in front two doors, 2 front tweets and 2 speakers in back)

What year is your car? The early Mk5s had the 10 speaker pack, the later ones just the 8 speakers.
Alternatively just press your ear up to the door when playing music, the mid is half way up the door behind a plastic grill.

You probably have the 8 speakers then
