Title: Found My car in the Independent News paper

So I've been trying to find the build number of my car for awhile. And VW called me back today to tell me I had number 0002

I've seen the next number plate along from mine was used in the 5th gear review, and VW UK headquarters was in the sat nav history. So I wondered if my car was a press car or demo car.

anyway, I found it in the Independent.

I thought the reg looked like it was one of the VW press cars, but hadn't yet dug out my old VW driver magazines to check!
Nice bit of extra history to have about the car, and at least it wasn't the one that 5th gear caned around Rockingham!

Yup thats the next number plate along on 5th gear. If you do find it's in the VW drivers mag can you take a photo and put it up! The manual ed30 is in the July 2007 VW Drivers Magazine
