Title: Standard radio
Post by: pudding on April 28, 2017, 11:39:35 am
What stereo would have come standard in a 2007 Edition 30?

I bought mine with an RNS510 in it, which I hardly ever use, so I'm thinking of selling it and putting a standard radio in.

Does the standard radio have AUX in capability, as in the 3mm audio jack?

I think it's the RCD300, that's the most basic one.
Can't help with the aux bit...

I'd be interested in the rns, price depending

At the time it came with RCD 300 and then an optional extra from the factory was the RNS MFD2.

I have the RNS MFD2 with the XCarLink system which gives you an aux and an additional iphone cable for charging.

I'll swap you all of my setup and do the installation and give you cash but it's an awful long drive  :signLOL:

I guarantee you can find someone who will give the same or similar offer as myself.

I've 2 rcd300 radios if you need one, one from a 6k miled R32 and the other out of my 18k ed 30 both the same and both brand new.

My GT Sport came from factory with a RCD500 MP3 with an Aux-In inside the armrest cubby. If I were you, I'd keep the radio, though. My Ed. 30 came from factory with a RNS-510 rev. A, which I upgraded to a rev. R. The RNS-510 came also with a 6 CD changer under the armrest and an Aux-In facing the hand brake lever.
