I recently snapped the bonnet release catch mechanism on my MK5. At the moment, the handle is not connected to anything. I have stripped it back and noticed that there is a small gear screwed in which is connected to a small plastic part that clips onto the bonnet release wire. This is what I have snapped in two.
Does anybody know if I can just buy the small gear and plastic part? Is it expensive?
