How easy are the intercooler hose kits to fit yourself and do they actually help or are they just a cosmetic mod.
Like the one in this link

Also these power pulley kits are they worthwhile or just a waste of money?

im sure every little helps carl.
my take on the lighter pulleys etc, is that if they are lighter it will take less power to turn them, potentially freeing up [ower to be used elsewhere. are they expensive though is the question, seems like more of a garnishing mod.
the tube kits you see there just replace all the hoses in the engine bay. just a case of replacing the pipes like for like. shouldnt be to hard. Oem clips are a pain in the ass if you havent got the right tool, but pliers still do the job, just more awkwardly.

....
If you are changing any hoses, use Stainless Steel Jubilee clips - More expensive but apparently less prone to break.

i have the neuspeed pulley kit, only fitted it cause i had to change the cambelt. and thought why not change this aswell, felt no change.

...and potentially leak - as I have learnt the hard way!

....Sorry but I don't quite understand. Do you mean that you've had leaks because a jubilee clip has broken?

Well, when I reused some of the OEM clips on the Forge coolant pipes I found that some where leaking ever so slightly... problem was resolved by using replacement ones to go with the kit.
