Title: Edition 30 stage 2+ again
Post by: firesafetydave on May 08, 2017, 10:25:21 pm
First trip for me today to R-tech. Stage 2+ made 360 and 408. Well chuffed. All usual mods, standard S3 intercooler.
Was told if I fitted after market IC and decat might make a few more ponies.
Well chuffed with results.

Nice one  :happy2:

Not worth the extra money for "a few more ponies" imo.  You won't feel them anyway.

More than quick enough as is - just need to sort brakes.

No shortage of options there!  Just depends if you want to keep the standard wheels and offset.

Already got Porsche boxster calipers on the front and caddy's on the back. Running 2500's at the moment and no good on track / fast road.
Going to try XP12's aup front and 10's on the rear and change to React fluid and see if that improves things before biting the bullet on Ap's

Sounds like you're a bit of a late braker!  On the road at least.  You must have some quiet roads where you live.  It's impossible to drive quick where I live, so standard brakes are more than enough for my Eddy.

APs are the real deal and the genuine AP rotors last a surprisingly long time with just road use.
