Title: Intake manifold flap

Scaned the car and came up as intake manifold/ flap thats what the engineer said what would that mean its clogged up. And what could be done to fix?

Get another intake off ebay or the TFSI Tuning group on Facebook.  The flap motor is likely kaput.

If the flap is clagged up it might transpire that you have a heavy carbon deposit on the back of the valves. You may not of course but it could be worth having the idea in the back of your mind that a clean up in there might be worthwhile at the same time.

Would that be the case of low boost and low mpg?
