For colour-coding budget for around £400-500. Some people have had it done cheaper, but it really depends on the bodyshop that you use.

Hey Whyhit.
Almost identical in looks to my GTI when I bought it, I would reccomend get it lowered a bit, and def go for the colour coding.
Just had mine done, £250 for all the black plastic bits, though I know that is cheap, Where abouts in the UK are you?
Look forward to seeing how your car changes/improves.

Will sort out some pics when I get it back later to show the results.
The guy is just by Cannock, near to Birmingham, but you will need to leave the car with him for a couple of days, so would reccomend bringing a friend, or you could get the train from the town centre. for the price I think its worth the extra effort.

hello and welcome.
given the potential of the GTI , a simple stg1 remap is definitely worth considering the difference is very noticeable.
