Hey dudes I have had a mk5 gti for a couple a yrs ac/econ has stopped working. Any advice fault finding/advice. I have never had it re gased or seen anything in service history could it be that simple or is that wishful thinking dudes help

Yeah try a regas. Mine was blowing nornal outside air in till i got it regassed and now it's nice and chilly.

Cool found a receipt last re gased 2009. Cheers for the reply dude

Any ideas how often they're supposed to be re gassed or is it just when it's needed.. Does the gas only stay good for a certain amount of time?

Think vw say every two yrs but rule of the thumb I hear is to get your ac checked out every 3yrs  dude
