Title: Mk5 BKD diesel rear caliper fit the gti???

Just wondering if the BKD diesel mk5 rear caliper fit the mk5 Gti?

If you have the caliper, carrier, discs and pads, they will bolt on I think.

I don't think they are the same size as GTI though so you cant just fit the caliper as a direct replacement.

always thought the caliper are the same the carriers are different

@Andy (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=164) calipers look spot on but the piston on the BKD is 40mm and the gti is 38 as I've found so now have a diesel caliper for sale  :doh: on the positive side I've rebuilt my left caliper today and have a brand new one for the drivers side all scotched up ready for black paint so can't be bad :smiley:
