 :happy2:

I have recently bought a 2005 mark v gti in red.  Looking to get the steering wheel retrimmed, has anyone used a good company?

If you're fussy about how clean your car is don't get alcantara they're just a pain to keep clean unless you wear driving gloves  you get about 6 months out of alcantara as a general life-span. Although they do look and feel great.

This german re-upholsterer has a lot of mk5 and mk6 steering wheels with a mix of leather, alcantara, mk5 tartan, carbon and 12 o'clock stripes. If you want ideas.
