Title: Edition 30 bouncing along road ???? Help
Post by: B1NCC 1.8T on June 22, 2017, 07:12:35 pm
I'm running witec coilovers on my ed30. It's been off the road for a few months over winter, I've been using it now over he better weather.

But I'm feeling that driving it's just bouncing/shaking along the road. I never had this problem before I took it off the road.
It feels like the tyre has a bulge on the tread pattern

Check all tyres (they are new). Wheels tight. Wheels rebalanced - but were ok.

Checked over the whole car bushes etc and suspension. No leakin shockers.

Wondering if anyone has had this before. I'm thinking the back shockers are at fault but noithing visibly wrong with them.

Did you rotate your wheels when the car was parked up? If not your tyres may be out of round due to the weight of the car consistently being on one spot over a long period. It should eventually resolve itself as the car is being used.
