Hey guys, I have the dreaded ABS/ESP/Tyre pressure warning lights, only very intermittent at the moment but I'm guessing this will get worse? Was wondering if anyone around Glasgow has VCDS that would be willing to scan my car? Will pay with beer and good chat!

I've had the same recently. Mine was a Rear Wheel Speed Sensor intermittent fault, it wasn't actually the sensor but the abs ring which is embedded into the wheel hub which was knackered. So you have to replace the entire hub.

Yeah from other threads it looks to be 1 of those - just need to get it scanned and find out which side! Did you fit it yourself? Was it fairly straight fwd?

No, I used a reputable independent VW specialist. £130. Quality hub like FAG brand (OEM suppliers) is around £80. Don't bother with eBay 30 quid jobs as they tend to last about 5 minutes. Strictly speaking you should change both sides.

I have VCDS and can scan your car for you. I'm in Muirhead.
