Title: Cv joint question

 Iv noticed a slight clunking noise when im reversing when i turn to the left and now a few days ago iv been get that noise when i pull of in first gear and when im slowing down. Would that defo be the cv joint or could it be anything else.

Worn cv joints usually make a clicking noise on full lock. Prob got play in a suspension joint or worst case steering rack

The noise is intermittent how can it be checked if the suspention joint or steering rack is gone ?
