Don't know exactly what went wrong, but the lock that pushes the wires out when removing starter from bulb went tits up. Just ordered a new one :fighting2:
-
Eeak. I bet that cost a fair bit!

50 :sad1:

the worst part being i had replaced the defective bulb, an d then i wanted to replace the other bulb so they would match, so it broke while replacing a bulb that worked :sad1: :stupid:
-
It's rare for them bulbs to blow, what happened did it just go out or does it try to light? I have seen xenons on 10 year old cars and i have noticed as they age they dim and go a pinky red blue colour.
-
i have replaced the left front light casing resently, and maybe the bulb didn't like it's new home
it lit up and then went off when i unlocked the car.
i found an ebay seller that wanted 47euros for 2 bulbs :happy2:
