I've had this for a while now. When I am on near full right lock (doing a 3 point turn or pulling into a car park bay) I get a single clunk from the front as I straighten up. This happens I suppose just before the wheels are nearly straight. Is this the common steering rack issue? Could it be the circlip has failed on the end of the drive shaft and is popping out/in the hub? does anyone have any other ideas?
I went to my local MOT centre and asked them to pop it up on their ramps and give the front suspension a proper going over and everything was spot on, so I don't think it's a failed bush/track rod end/etc.
Thoughts?
Cheers

Sounds to be more like broken spring.
They break at the top, so can't easily see right up the top of the 'tube' shape

Cheers Ady, I'll have a look tomorrow while I'm doing an oil change. I did replace the shocks/springs last year with new standard OEM so hope it's not that, though with give me an excuse to go with a VWR setup :)
