Hi guys, I currently have a rcd300 identical to this one

Mine is really scratched and it really lets the interior down making it look scruffy, my car is a 07 reg golf and I'm unsure on what models I can put in that won't make my battery drain? I have a connects2 kit for this stereo but would swap to another model if I could. Want it as cheap as possible though
What's my options??
