Title: Cd Changer Question

Can anyone confirm if they get album name or song name when played throgh the cd changer, in my mk5 it originally had an ipod dock that i changed to the official cd changer but i used the ipod lead from the changer to the head unit. The problem im getting is the same if i use original cd or copy no info from the cd changer but if i use the same cd direct in my rns510 full info so im wondering if it either down to the lead needs changing or it just the changer dont support it.

pretty sure cd changer doesn't support CD text.
