Trying my best to grab a second hand high pressure pump for the GTI5, but keep hitting ridiculous walls on the 2nd hand market; must have contacting 20 plus scrappies on ebay, and the prices range from £150 to £300 2nd hand! crazy
So... is this my best bet...? Brand New £170: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-VW-VOLKSWAGEN-2-0T-PETROL-FSI-HIGH-PRESSURE-FUEL-PUMP-06F127025M-/381518068074
Or is there any out there for a more reasonable £50?

What's wrong with yours?
I have one minus the piston

Get the genuine one. Always handy to have a new one kicking around for going back to standard.
Ebay prices are on the up it seems!

£50 + postage would be all I'd want for mine but you didn't respond on your first thread about this ? Either way I still have it. :happy2:

Hi mate, Sorry I totally missed that other thread at the time.
Mine has a snapped sensor, which I tried to fix but it's foobarred again.
My Part Number is: 06F127025 H
No Banjo on mine
Is yours all intact matey? What sort of miles on it?
I'll take it if everything is cool, cheers for responding :)

Thanks mate, snapped sensor on mine... think I'd prefer the complete unit as a preference, cheers though mate.

Ideally I would be buying a new one, but I kind of want it to fix up the car and sell, as I'm doing more miles now and a dirty diesel is inbound :|

All intact but minus a fitting IIR, highly likely it was on the car from new and I swapped it out at around 70K for a higher pressure version (bought the car at 50K). Working fine when removed. On holiday though at the moment and the pump is at home, back on the 16th which is good for me but not if you're desperate for my pump :sad1: Best thing is if your not sorted when I get back drop me a line, its not going anywhere :happy2:

OK matey, thanks for that; I will be honest and say I will be looking for one sooner than that, but if I can't get hold of one, I'll give you a message... have a great holiday btw, Cheers :happy2: :drinking:
