Bit pricey for a manual with no sunroof?  And it's white as well

Lol what you mean for a manual they're the best kind, and i know what you mean about a sunroof, wish I had one...also two less doors.

Some people (lunatics) seem to favour white cars, personally I dislike white, black and silver they're the colours of indecisive people

Both gearbox flavours have their issues, but the manual is mechanically simpler and therefore more reliable

White is for tumble driers and dish washers, but I guess it became fashionable again because of white 'S Line' spec'd diesel Audis rolling on huge Gunmetal rims.  VERY VERY common here in Essex.  Interestingly, white is the colour of sheep, as you alluded to

My fave Edition 30 colour is steel grey.  Couldn't find one in the spec I wanted, so Black it was...... I'm the black sheep of the family

Next will be rose-gold (that iphone goldy colour) audis and "bimmas" all these things start out in Essex and Birmingham, remember the term 'vagazzle'

I was between Steel Grey and Tornado Red, opted for red since a regularly maintained red stand outs still kind of regret not going for grey...and I guess I'm the red rocket then hopefully that's not some sort of euphemism

I bet someone, somewhere, has had a car wrapped in Apple Rose Gold

Red and grey are 2 colours the GTI has always worn well, so can't go wrong with either  :happy2:

I actually prefer the candy white as you don’t see many candy white gti’s around

...then I am biased as I have a candy white Gti...with a sunroof!

But I do love the grey ones too

They all came with heated seats as standard, and cruise control is a £13 retrofit.

Yeah, but it's still a good spec none the less when you think bodykit, alloys, interior, de-tuned engine etc and optional spec parts aren't expensive anymore.

Just bought myself a white edition - not this one though. Collect it tomorrow.

Interesting to read opinions above. I've never owned a white car and love the contrast of the white against the black, look awesome. Not a red, silver or black car fan at all. Was either grey or white for me.

Best colour by far was my DBP R32, looked stunning
