Title: ABS / ESP Recall ??

My 2008 Pirelli has been in the garage for the last week and a bit, for a new mechatronics unit. (Ouch).

The postman delivered a letter from  Volkwagon AG Telling me that my ABS/ESP may be suffering from thermol overheating and that I should get it back to VW for a check over.
Am I right in thinking this is the ABS powe module issue many have spoken of in other topics? I wasn't aware a recall had been issued in the UK

I have also received the same letter for my 08 Pirelli, its booked in Wednesday this week.. :thinking:
