Title: Original Battery

Is the Varta the original battery that came with the MK5?

Just replaced this today as the car is only getting maybe one or two starts before I have to use an external charger and is also going flat after a couple of days of no use.
If it is I don't think 11 years is too bad for it to have lasted.
