Title: Kenwood DNX520VBT - Where best to mount the BT mic?

Morning all. I've got a Kenwood DNX520VBT head unit on its way to me at the minute for my GTI. I've got the same head unit in my T5 and ran the mic up the A pillar and concealed it in the map light next to the rear view mirror. Where are people putting the mic in their Golfs? Don't want it on show so it must be hidden away somewhere behind a grill or something...

You could try behind the dash vent on top of dash.

Fits in the place where the factory fit microphone would be!!!

Run the wiring along the headlining, down the passenger side A-Pillar and across the top of the glovebox!!!

Thats pretty cool - didn't know such a think existed! Might get a couple - one for the van too but in the meantime I'm going to run it somewhere around the dash somewhere so its easy to rip out if I want to put it somewhere more permanent like in the light, later. Arrived today so going to get it fitted tonight  :happy2:
