Title: Finally got myself a GTI!

So a couple of weeks ago I took the plunge into GTI ownership, and I could not be happier. An incredible upgrade from my first car - a clio.
Had a great drive up Mam Tor in the Peak District last weekend, usual shame about the weather though

Incredible picture you have there - wish I had roads like that near me! The Mk5 must be a real step up from the Clio - I had a mk2 version (a meaty 1.2 Oasis special edition...). Pretty much all the electrics didn't work, or did only when they liked. I did have great fun keeping the momentum up on A roads - the chassis was fun. A Williams or 16v must be a crazy little car!

The mk5 looks great - this site will help you spends lots of money...!
