Title: Hi all , new happy to be owner :)
Post by: Bodyboarder81 on September 02, 2017, 10:28:56 pm
Hi all,

Just joined up as I've just put a deposit on a lovely mk5 Pirelli gti from a forum member ! Hope to be picking it up next week !

I do however have a question ( many to come I suspect!) I'm not a massive fan of the Pirelli wheels and so looking to purchase some bbs vz .

These appear to be very similar to the edition 30 wheels , which I love .

The ones I'm looking at are 18" by 8" et44 from GNJ motorsport. The car I'm buying has Audi s3 brakes fitted , so my query is will these wheels fit over the brakes?

Any help much appreciated

Thanks josh

Yes completely understand your view on them , just not to my personal taste but I'll be keeping them and maybe in the future swop them back  :happy2:

Welcome Josh,

Glad to see this lovely Pirelli edition will still be on the forum! I tried a manual 5-dr Pirelli before my Edition 30. That was back in 2012 when I bought my car - I've never seen a Pirelli edition on the road. I am sure they will retain their value well!

Thanks all , appreciate the welcome :)

And if anyone can shed some light on the wheel /brake fitment I'd be very grateful.

Is it best a post a seperate thread in the relevant section ?

Thanks
