Title: Kenwood dnx525 or 516 ?

Hi all ,

Just wondering if anyone runs either of the above units ? The 525 is around £150 cheaper but is the 516 worth the extra ?

Any info /help appreciated :)

I've had the DNX525DAB for about 3 years, obviously better than the RCD 300 that i'd got before. To be honest it is a good headunit the only thing that lets it down is the screen, you can't see it on bright days, also its not very responsive and you have to be very precise as well when touching it...

Also the software seems unfinished and buggy, wish Kenwood would have just done something OEM too many buttons and menus that all do the same thing...!

Ended up going for the newer 516 unit at £150 more due to pretty much what you said . Just need to get it fitted now  :happy2:
