Getting condensation at the front bottom corner of both my rear windows when the cars left overnight etc. Anyone experienced this before?
I've had a look around and cant say any cause for it however I did noticed that the rear window seals (thin strip between the door skin & window) are damp. Wasn't sure if it was due to the fact it was raining but the front ones are dry on both sides.
Here's a picture of what I'm getting

I have the same problem. After heavy rainfall I get patches of condensation on both the rear windows, same location as your pic. As you pointed out, the rubber seal between window and door looks to have broken down over time and actually looks to have perished completely at the corners. I’m driving an ‘06 GTi
Presume moisture is creeping inside the door frame due to the perished seal. Would be interested to hear of any fix. Can the rubber seals be replaced??
Cheers,
Stewart

I also get this after it has rained or even when I have washed the car.
I get a clean MF cloth and a plastic implement and push it into the area to absorb the moisture. This kinda works.
Would like a cure.

I'll try dry the seals all out with a hairdryer next time I clean. Next up probably will look into new seals.

Did anyone manage to find a solution to this problem?
Looks like I'm a sufferer too.

I have those damp crystals in a box under the rear foot well after the car had a damp smell when i bought it. No smell now, no condensation

Silica gel? I've just ordered some from eBay... fingers crossed that'll sort it.
