:driver: Hi guys just baught a 2005 5 door gti dsg. Was driving it from sheffield to london when the check engine light flickered yellow but car was driavable but felt like limp mode. I switched the car off 10 min and tried again the car started. Then i filled up fuel and got back onto the motorway and this time it came on flashed yellow then stayed on car was still driving fine but taking a while to get to 70 80 ish. I pulled over as now the car was losing power no throttle responce i pulled over switched off the car but hasnt started since. Did a vag check
Faults came up P0301 cylinder 1 misfire detected. And p2300 ignitiom coil a primary control circuit low. Has anyone had similiar problems and a fix?
