Is a full system really needed or would just the highflow downpipe fitted to standard system get the same results after remap?
-
It depends on what results you are after.
-
I know standard stage 1s tend to make around 240-250hp so would a downpipe and cai make 15-20 more?
-
It has the potential too but you’ll run out of fuel between 250-260 so you would probably need an upgraded fuel pump (and upgraded intercooler and intake) if 270bhp is your target

off topic, what calipers are those in your sig?

DB9. Same as TTRS

X2
Mine made 270 on the R-Tech rollers, just with a full BCS exhaust and Pipercross panel filter. But it put the standard fuel pump right on the limit - fuel cuts were just round the corner. Loba pump sorted that and also made it a much nicer car in terms of power delivery.
Bottom line - if you want a strong and reliable 270bhp from a k03 TFSI, get an uprated pump.

Same applies to the K04 engines. The crazy midrange torque the TFSI engines are capable of is only possible with an uprated HPFP.
