Title: Driver's door doesn't lock with the fob

So my driver's door recently stopped locking with the key fob (or when the central locking activates at 10mph). The passenger side still works (3 door).

I've changed the door lock module on the driver's side but it made no difference. Any other things I can check as an enthusiastic amateur, or should I give up and draft in a trusted garage?

Booked her in for Friday @ Pony Road Autos in Oxford ... here's hoping it's not too expensive.

So it turned out to be ... the lock module.

In other words, I diagnosed everything correctly, and replaced the right part ... but the £30 one I bought off eBay was a dud  :fighting:

Still, never mind, only £280 for the professionals to fix it with an expensive part. I'm off to make beans on toast for the rest of the month...
