Title: Inline bypass thermostat

I have a GTI AXX manual, and planning on changing my inline bypass thermostat.

I got a new genuine one from TPS but noticed that if I try to blow through it, a little air does pass when it is supposedly closed......should I take it back or is this acceptable?

Got TPS to get another in for comparison. And they all let a little air pass so all good.

Changed mine and the old one was wide open as suspected.
