Title: Need help from users with ANTI THEFT / TOW alarm in their cars :)

Hey guys.
So I've tried to retrofit this alarm in my own car. Made my own wirering and everything with the info from elsawin.

Got all the parts installed of wirered of the correct way (atleast from what elsawin is saying).

So does your deactivation button light up all time while driving or does it fade out with the interior dome light that turns on when opening a door or turning ignition of?

Not a single user here has this alarm fitted from factory?!  :drinking:

Thought it almost were a standard thing on UK mk5's  :confused:

If it the same as from the factory, then my red light sometimes stays on while driving. Then next time I use the car the light goes away. Does happen all of the time no faults in VCDS. Just a gremlin.

Hi, thanks you for sharing :)

I've installed mine exact some way as the factory way - did drive while it was dark last night and saw very fainted red light in the buttons?..

Can't see anywhere how the deaktivation buttons shall light up during ignition and so on.. Just seems strange that it should follow the dome/reading lights and not the red light from other buttons like the window switches etc etc  :pomppomp:

would like some more posting their thoughts on this :D
