Have you tried Luke at Plush automotive? Used to be based around Leicester when I went a few years back.

Maybe things have changed. They upgraded my speakers. Can't recall the cost. They say they will do sinple upgrades too so might be worth ringing them.

Have contacted plush so let's see how it goes.

Do think it's probably a job for someone who knows what they are doing with wires as I keep reading it's about doing a pin swap but I can't seem to get it. I've opened it up on many occasions and played about with wires but just can't seem to get it sorted.

They do a fair few of full audio system upgrades now, it's just not their primary work.
