Title: Very quick Q what tyres would fit 17" golf alloys?

Hi there, my dad told me he has a new set of 17" tyres from his old merc, - what tyre sizes would apply to fit genuine monza alloys to a golf gt tdi 04 reg. thanks :happy2:

Old thread I know, but related; what width are the standard 17" Monza's?

I think they're 7.5s in 17" and 18"
