My key was beginning to look a bit worn and the key ring attachment bar had broken off so I ordered a replacement case on eBay. Swapped over the internal parts and tried it on the car. Remote locking still works but the immobiser is now active. Any idea why this is happening. I have a spare so it’s not the end of the world just hoping I am now not faced with having to get the new one coded

I have had another look and can’t find what you are talking about. The only glass bit I can see is the for the red light in the button section of the key
