Title: boost gauge help

I am wanting to fit a boost gauge to my tsi, but I dont know which gauge to get. my car is origanally the 140bhp model, the 170 models have a boost gauge already installed, will it be possible to link upto the same point where the 170 gauge will fit or do I need to find another point? also do I get a mechanical or electrical boost gauge?  :confused:
