MK5 Golf GTI

So I park out the back of my work daily and as usual I moved my car to let a delivery past, but tonight, 5 minutes after I leave my car a storm picks up and a wooden fence smashes onto the front and now there’s a big dent and deep cuts on the bonnet. Just my luck.
I’m just wondering what’s my best way about fixing this? I’m going to assume sourcing a whole new bonnet is cheaper than getting it repaired, but what other bonnets would fit a GTI? Could I get one from a standard mk5? Or a Jetta?
Thanks

I don’t see any difference in mk5 bonnets, not sure about Jetta.
Definitely the cheaper way to go sourcing a mk5 bonnet in your colour.
I’ve just done the same with a tailgate

I thought the GTI bonnet was a bit longer than the standards? Maybe not I don’t know, hopefully not though because it shouldn’t be too hard to source out a tornado red bonnet!
If anyone has any experiences with prices or knows what I should be expecting to pay, let me know :)

Bonnets are the same from all MK5 models.
The GTI or R32 isn't a wider body or anything. - I've changed my TDI front to a new genuine GTI front bumper and the bonnet close as before. Same lock and everything.
Also checked EKTA and there's nothing about it should be different from the model line.

That’s perfect, maybe this won’t be such a bother after all
