My vehicle needs a service

Book points to a major service - what parts would be needed as want to do it myself.

Oil 5W-30 or 5W-40
Oil Filter
Air Filter
Pollen Filter
Spark Plugs
Check all tyres
Check all suspension components

If you want or can do:
Check cam follower
Check DV
Replace Fuel filter
Possibly replace DSG gearbox fluid
Check timing belt and water pump replacement period i.e. mileage or time since last change.

Cam follower and Fuel filter for sure.

Brake & clutch (if manual) fluid flush as well.  Should be done every 2 years.

Clean and grease the bonnet latch.

Grease all the hinges.

VW also do a full inspection on the lift, which most DIYers can't do.
