Title: MFD2 Help Please!

Hi guys, I have a 08 gt tdi and I have just upgraded the stereo to a MFD2. Do I need any extra bits for it to work properly cables or harness etc? Before I take the dash apart! Thanks

Should be a straight fit but you will need a GPS antenna if you don't have one and might need to code it in with vcds to be complete but I used mine without coding a d worked fine

Thanks for the reply! I’ll check eBay for an antenna then. What does code with vcds mean? I have no clue when it comes to stereos  :ashamed:

.......Also it normally needs two aerial inputs with a diversity control box under seat.

Not sure how you get around this, but heard radio signal is crap without!
