Post by: The666 on January 13, 2018, 08:33:32 pm
I have a black auto bmw e92 335i coupe twin turbo model n54. black leather heated seats, black piano trim, sunroof, tinted windows, dab, aux and a whole lot more.

I'm looking for a ed30 black 5 door dsg. pm me if you're interested.

so just sold my car now looking to jump into a ed30 dsg. Not much to choose from though. Its either really high mileage which is understandable since they're like 10+ years old and the ones that are on low miles is the same price as a mk6 r or a s3. It makes me wonder if I should just go for the mk6 this time round. Since if I buy a ed30 now its gonna be really hard to sell it, at least with the golf r or s3 it will be easier to sell when time comes.

Anyone thinking of selling their ed30 dsg?

There is one in the for sale section if it's still available.

If I were to sell my Ed30 DSG, I'd have no idea what to replace it with, either a very much more expensive MK7 R or GTI.  :driver:
I'd be surprised if you can get a low miles ED30 anymore - they are too good to leave in a garage. All the best with your search

thanks mate and yh youre right most are 90k plus asking for too much imo.
I'm probably gonna end up buying a s-tronic s3 sportback 8p or a vw mk6 r dsg 5 door which I should of done before I got the 335i.
I will look for the ed30 one more day and see what happens.

Didn't know ED30 prices were matching the MK6 R/ S3 now.  Last time I looked, people were struggling to shift ED30s for £7K.

Doesn't surprise me though.  The car market in this country is weird when people are prepared to pay £20K for a MK4 R32!!

found this pirelli this morning pretty good deal tbh.

pirelli dsg 5 door black 111,000 miles 1 owner £3750. Don't know how legit that is but its pretty cheap compared to the others asking for upwards of 8k for similar miles.
Too far for me so if anyone on the forum wants to go for it can probably make profit off of it. Good luck

Even at 110K that is way too cheap for a Pirelli.   No engine picture, which is a dead giveaway for K03s faked up as ED30s/Pirellis.......but it could be genuine......worth a glance at least.

it is a pirelli for sure https://www.vehiclecheck.co.uk/?SC=132&vrm=mf58rfx (https://www.vehiclecheck.co.uk/?SC=132&vrm=mf58rfx)
maybe something wrong with it but it is worth checking out if anyone is local to Nottingham

Nothing obvious jumps out in the pics, looks to be in good standard condition visually.   If the DSG mechatronics are sound, it could be a bargain for someone.

I must be behind the times, but what kind of scammer advertises a car for half it's real value?  Not sure how that works!

@Pudding (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=10733) think they work on the principle that you will pay a deposit to secure it. My sister travels through Newark daily so it was a genuine possibility for me to acquire it. I txt the number and received this reply from different number:

Saw your missed call regarding my 2008 Volkswagen Golf price 3750 if you are still interested feel free to reach me to daniel673@cnn-media.co.uk

Also had another txt from some spam address later in the evening
