But out of all the colours Shadow Blue (Dark Blue Metallic) is my overall favourite. Rare and stunning to look at when the sun sets on it, has a purple like tinge to it at certain angles.

Yeah that's true. I see plenty of grey MK7s, but hardly any MK5s. Was grey a cost option on the MK5 or something?

As far as Edition 30s go, grey or black for sure. Red and white = meh. Too many white cars around these days.

Agreed, and plain black as well, not metallic. Great for touch ups :grin: I've also put black vinyl on the sills and other impact areas as it just blends in like OEM on a black car. Can't even notice it until you get close :happy2:

I think i've settled on grey but will be difficult to find the spec i want
