Title: Timing issue

I am having some issues with my sat nav, and I tried to pull out a fuse from the engine side fuse box. I did this with the car running and I pulled out the fuel pump relay fuse (you plonker Rodney!).

That caused the car to misfire abit then I stuck the fuse back in. Since then, there has been a loud sound around 1k revs similar to a diesel which tails off with higher revs.

On vagcom this comes up as a P0011 camshaft timing advanced retarded. Cleared the code and it comes up again

Anybody know what damage I have done?
