Title: Door mirror cover removal?

Hey guys. Has anyone got a link or step by step guide how to remove the covers on the door mirror? My laquer is pealing off so was thinking to remove the plastic covers and spray paint them then laquer them. Thanks in advance

I had to do that on my passenger side due to clear coat peel as well.  Dead easy as per the video.  I used VW rattle cans and the paint match and finish were spot on  :happy2:
