I'm new to Mk5 and i've just been underneath the car and replaced my knacked (for a while by the looks of it) rev B dv for a secondhand Forge DV. I also replaced a couple of the ic pipe seals. Basically it runs like crap and I've double checked the vacuum hoses and plumbing and it's all correct. I'm going to take it out for a steady 20min run to see if it's a case of the ecu relearning

Still runs like crap. Has anyone else had this problem? I've fitted the black spring as it's stock boost

did you lube the O-rings in the forge valve before installing? I'm wondering if the internal cylinder of the valve is not moving smoothly/sticking. (forge have a repair kit that has all new O-rings and grease)

I did lube up. I'm wondering if it's highlighting a pcv valve problem too.

Turns out it was the Pcv valve pipe that split whilst fitting the Forge kit. Proper try out today on the way to work
